From 1976 to 1982, he served in the first parish of Banja Luka and from 1982 to 2009 he performed the duty of the dean of the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity and served as a parson in the second Banja Luka parish.
From 1965 to 1976, he served as a deacon in the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity and as an officer of the Diocese Management Board of the Diocese of Banja Luka. He was ordained a deacon on 21st September 1965, and a presbyter (priest) on 19th August 1976 by the Bishop Andrej of Banja Luka. He finished the Saint Sava Orthodox Seminary in 1963 in Belgrade.
